Who should apply: Doctoral students and Early Career Researchers (less than 3 years since the award of the PhD) from the social sciences and humanities whose work is relevant to the broad research agenda of the Centre as described here.
How to apply: Up to 30 participants will be awarded a place on a competitive basis. Your application pack must include in a single pdf document:
- A 500 word covering letter explaining how your research will benefit from your participation in the workshop, and how you will contribute to it
- Your current CV (including details of publications)
- Two letters of reference, one of which should be from your current supervisor
Deadline for applications: All application materials must be received by 7 February 2012
Cost and scholarships: There is no registration fee for the CCI Winter School. Accommodation (shared apartment with own bedroom) and daytime meals are provided by CCI. If your application is successful, you will be responsible for the costs of your own travel to and from Brisbane, and for obtaining visas (if required).
